Samsung confirms existence of Galaxy S7 Edge by mistake

Earlier this week, Samsung sent out a typically cryptic invite for its next Unpacked event on Feb. 21 in Barcelona, without actually disclosing the names of the devices it plans to show. But what seems to be an error on the company's developer site briefly showed that the Galaxy S7 Edge is likely to be one of Samsung's upcoming phones.
The error was first noticed by Dutch site Galaxy Club, which grabbed a screenshot fromdeveloper.samsung.com, where Galaxy S7 Edge was mentioned in several places.

The references to the new phone were later removed.
Samsung is expected to launch two phones in Barcelona — the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge — and they're slowly but surely becoming the worst kept secret in tech. A recent leakshowed the phones' design will be very similar to last year's models.
As far as specifications go, both devices are likely to have QuadHD (2,560 x 1,440) screens, a Samsung Exynos 8 8890 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage. The 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 Edge will be bigger than the Galaxy S7, whose screen will measure 5.1 inches, and it will have a bigger battery — 3,600mAh vs. 3,000mAh.
